You may create an 'as soon as possible' payment or schedule a future payment from any credit or debit card or a checking or savings account.
If you make a payment from a bank account with insufficient funds, your payment will not be accepted and overdraft fees will be included in your next bill.
Because of weekends and holidays, it may take up to three days for the funds to be deducted from your account.
If your payment was initiated via eService, you may modify a scheduled payment before 10:00pm on the evening of the day your payment is scheduled. Modifying the payment includes changing the amount or scheduled date for the payment.
If you selected an 'as soon as possible' payment date, you cannot modify the payment after you have clicked submit.
If your payment was initiated via eService, you may cancel a scheduled payment before 10:00pm on the evening of the day the day your payment is scheduled.
If you selected an 'as soon as possible' payment, you cannot cancel the payment after you have clicked submit.
A Payment Account is a credit or debit card or a bank account that you have saved in your Liberty Mutual eService account. By accepting this Agreement, you authorize us to initiate charges for the amounts and on the dates selected during the payment process. You also agree that we may receive updated information on your account from the card issuer or bank.
You may create payment accounts at any time to be used for one-time or scheduled payments through Liberty Mutual eService. You can save your checking, savings, and credit or debit accounts and add an easy to remember account 'nickname 'such as 'Rewards Visa.'
You may modify a payment account's nickname or expiration date at any time.
You may delete any payment account that is on file at any time. If you delete a payment account with a scheduled payment the payment will be canceled.
If you are due a premium refund on your policy we will refund the money to you via check, unless you have a balance on an associated renewal contract that the refund could be applied to.
If your payment is attempted on a policy with zero balance or a credit balance it will not be accepted and your Payment Account will not be debited.
You may cancel your policy voluntarily at any time. At cancellation, Liberty Mutual will access the premium dollar amount you paid vs. the amount owed for the coverage you received. If your policy has been overpaid you will receive a check to settle the account, if your policy is underpaid you will be issued a paper bill to settle the final amount due.
If your payment attempt is declined, and the amount attempted remains unpaid on the next occurrence of your billing day we will move you to direct bill, and issue a past-due direct bill. If you do not pay this past due bill by the due date your account will be reviewed for nonpayment and pending cancellation status. If you are placed in nonpayment you will be issued a non-pay notice that will communicate a date that your policy will be cancelled if the minimum amount is not paid. If this date passes and the minimum amount is not paid your policy will be cancelled as of the date communicated in the nonpayment notice.
You agree that we may communicate with you regarding this Agreement and our business relationship with you by electronic mail (e-mail) as permitted under applicable laws.
