A welcome back to school template is an easy way to create a custom letter that’ll introduce yourself to your students and their parents. The teacher welcome letter template can also allow you to outline the curriculum for the year and any special events or projects, detail what school supplies will be required, and establish a code of conduct for your classroom such as the homework policy.
All in all, this free editable welcome letter to parents is aimed at making students feel more comfortable, getting parents looped into what is happening or will be happening, and making sure you’ve filled everyone in so there are no surprises. Seriously, it’s an all around great way to start the school year off on the right foot!
Within this post, you’ll find two free customizable teacher welcome letter templates that can be used for any classroom, grade, or subject. One of the customizable welcome back to school templates is aimed at the student while the other is a free editable welcome letter to parents.

Tip: If you plan on using a teacher welcome letter template, I recommend sending it out ASAP. The more time students and parents have to prepare (ex. purchasing school supplies) the better. Plus, advanced notice will also give them ample time to voice any questions or concerns (rather than waiting for the first day of school). Make use of an easy, customizable welcome back to school template today!
